Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built I have many folding knives and believe in having one on me at all times. I believe the Fatcat is the most solid built of all ones I carry. I firmly think that if you take care of it, it will take care of you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing folder, glad I bought one finally! This is more than just another knife, it's a piece of great mechanical engineering and something to hold on to and pass on. The Arc-Lock is superbly designed and locks up tight, while the Krayton grips give just enough to fit the hand perfectly. Others have questioned why it has no pocket clip and it is obvious when you get one in hand. The nylon pouch is great and it is not too big on the belt. If you want a clip on it, put one on it, otherwise just use the belt option. Pocket knives are suppose to be discrete and this SOG is anything but, EDC a smaller knife in your front pocket unless you like carrying Kong everywhere you go. The blade deploys silky smooth and is so sharp it's scary. If you can drop the coin on one of these bad boys do it, because some day down the road you will wish you picked one up when you could.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Heirloom There is something about this knife that transcends the notion of a cutting tool. It has the heft, the workmanship, the style, and the feel of an instrument that one cherishes for the generations, rather than a tool that one uses for a specific purpose. Although versatile and rugged, it is the kind of instrument that one keeps as an example of fine workmanship--something that is often missing in products these days. I own a multitude of knives; but this one stands out among even the best of them.

    SOG Warranty Information

All SOG products are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the original purchaser. This guarantee is voided (as determined by SOG) by misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, or alterations of the product and does not cover any normal wear or tear that might occur. Using your SOG folding blade or fixed blade knife for any purpose other than cutting or puncturing is considered abuse and may void your warranty.

    SOG Unconditional Pocket Clip Warranty

Pocket clips can be broken if they are accidentally caught on foreign objects while wearing. To help prevent such occurrences, SOG recommends that you wear your knife in your front pocket, with the knife inside your pocket. If, for whatever reason, your clip bends or breaks and you would like to receive a replacement, fill out the Clip Request Form, or email/call SOG's warranty department. Damage to a knife handle because a clip has snagged is not considered "normal," and any such damage will be assessed under warranty. Learn more about replacing pocket clips in Knife & Tool Care.
