Tactical Tomahawk Black is rated 4.2941 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just got mine today As many have said it seems tough and well made except for the sheath. I'm going to do the quick polack fix and cut an opening in the opposite side and this way here the weak snaps are on top and it can't fall out. A few well placed pop rivets should do the trick to hold it together. Who said us placks are..... ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic product!!! I purchased this product from a local merchant several months ago. I have subjected this tool to a lot of abuse while in the field, and it has held up beyond my expectations. I carry it in my pack and always end up using it for something. It is extremely versatile and very durable. there have been no problems with rust, as it has been subjected to rain, mud, dirt, rocks and everything else under the sun. I have not tried shaving with it yet, although I'm sure it could be done. For the price, you just can't beat it. i like it so much that I bought one as a christmas gift for my brother. thanks for another great product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from over priced the durability of this item is below public standards in my opinion. i have also seen the priceof this item be as low as $40. so why try and sell it for $64.25?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent On every multi-day hike I go on I take my tomahawk. I have put it through the ringer and it is still in great shape. I wouldn't buy any other kind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from a good little tool When i first picked up my tact. Hawk i was surprised by the weight. I had expected it to be much heavier. The length is slightly cumbersome for me but nothing that can't be worked with. If you are a smaller lady as I am you may be more comfortable with the fasthawk. My biggest fault i find is actually the sheath. The hawk removes from the bottom of the sheath which is held closed by three fairly strong snaps. However that means that while the hawk is hanging on my belt or pack, the snaps are load bearing. I had the hawk snag on brush twice and the snaps popped, releasing the hawk. ( this might not be a problem for someone of a more taller stature than I) I have since made a leather sheath for my hawk to my standards and have yet to repeat my previous problem. All in all I like my tact hawk and find uses for it all the time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SAVED MY LIFE! i used this tomahawk as a sort of pick for grip climbing out of a ravine with near vertical faces in washington state, i used the spike to stop myself from falling multiple times before i reached the top. the head of this hawk will support 220 of person and 30+ pounds of gear repeatedly and CONTINUOUSLY and is SUPERBLY resistant to shock, the only down side is the bad SHEATH it comes with because i lost the dang thing the very same day, it fell out somewhere in the brush. i will be buying another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from gREAT I HAVE HAD THIS TOMAHAWK FOR SEVERAL MONTHS NOW. I HAVE THROWN IT AS WELL AS USED IT FOR CUTTING WOOD AND CLEARING BRUSH. IT IS STRONG AND DURABLE, AND I HAVE HAD NO ISSUES WITH RUSTING. WHEN I FIRST THREW IT WITH SOME FRIENDS, THERE WAS SNOW AND MUD ON THE GROUND. WE USED IT FOR SEVERAL MORE HOURS (CLEARING FALLEN TREES OFF OF A TRAIL, THEN THROWING IT LATER AT A TARGET) THEN PUT IT AWAY FOR ANOTHER SEVERAL HOURS BEFORE WIPING IT DOWN WITH GUN OIL WHEN I GOT HOME. it EVEN GLANCED off of the target at one point and fell into a large puddle of water. unfortunately, my friend even missed the target on accident and hit a nearby rock. I cringed... I expected it to be broken, but to my surprise, it only had a scratch in the matte black coating and a small, unnoticeable chip on the top of the cutting edge. it is an extremely versatile tool, and I will be using it plenty this summer. I think it is fairly priced, and personally, I love the design based on the Vietnam tomahawk. I have convinced two of my friends to buy one for themselves.
